I can’t believe how great the Lane Keep Assist and Adaptive Cruse Control features are. I know its a strange admission but letting the van keep the pace of the car in front of you even as you take an off ramp to a dead stop was exhilarating. My wife and I were screaming ITS STOPPING ITSELF AHHHHH!!! as I nervously hovered over the brake pedal. Bought it last week but I’ve been busy so I finally got to drive it this weekend. It’s an amazing minivan. You’ll notice horrible fuel econ in the dash pic that is because the thing has so many damn new tech features we have spent a long time idling while we set up various setting and features.

I hope this is a joke. My promaster has had $23,000 in repairs in under the last 3 years.. NEVER AGAIN. b ut that is pretty neat though:)

Those chrome wheels are an abomination, but besides that I'm team Promaster too

The Honda “designer” in love with directional wheels should be kicked in the crotch a few thousand times.

I think any of the Honda wheels with the black inserts are fugly but I dont mind these at all pretty handsome in person and most importantly easy to clean.

As a person who puts 55000 miles a year on a promaster I can assure you that you are wrong. They are a piece of shit..

They are less “directional” as I call it, than the flamboyant wheels seen on many Accord and Civic, so it could definitely be worse.  The directional blade inset in the spokes is a little irksome, but relatively, not bad.  I’d choose it over the aging Sienna for sure.

I really like the gauge cluster on these.

Was this off ramp mostly straight and not a cloverleaf exchange?

The 2019 Sienna still had less tech, features and drove the same as our old 2009 Grand caravan not to mention not much better safety wise either . It was out as an option half a mile into the 1st test drive we took in one.

It is pretty neat tons of customization in th e lower center info area too. Have not really fully explored that yet. The tachometer is pretty cool to watch it go through 9 gears..

I believe it. Honda has often been more compelling tome than Toyota, and this is definitely a segment where that’s true.

I suppose a Pacifica is too risky, shame, as it has the looks.

Honda minivans are the GOAT.

We considered it but the recalls and negative info online from unhappy buyers plus mega resale value loss were already leaning against it. And then we had one with 12 miles break down while on a test drive...

I have a 2003 Oddy and love it. I drove a 2017 as a loaner and did not like it at all, even though it had all the bells and whistles. I like the older, basic feel of the 03. But then again, I’m a historian at heart.

The question was referring to whether the car was turning you around a loopy ramp, or was it keeping you pointed straight ahead on a mostly-straight ramp?

Yeah, even without reliability issues, resale on a new Pacifica will be catastrophic.

I thought ACC was a gimmick iuntil I came across it this year. I had thought that it only controlled the accelerator so finding the car braking quite hard all by itself was an experience.

Downside: driving with out cruise and almost forgetting that the car is NOT going to slow down when you approach the one in front...

N ew model after 2018. I know what you mean though we have a 2008 cr-v and its basicness is a pleasure.
